Our Mission is to provide Zips Student-Athletes with the resources needed to succeed in the classroom and on the field of play.
Contributions to the Annual Fund are used to support the athletic endeavors of Akron Athletics by providing scholarship support, building and renovating athletic facilities, and operational support designed to help student-athletes excel in the classroom and in competition.
Akron Athletics is responsible for paying the full tuition – in-state, out-of-state, or international – for the 250+ athletic scholarships allowed under NCAA rules, along with the full cost of books, fees, room and board to the University of Akron.
